I read to my children Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar. They did enjoy reading with me including counting and naming those fruits and food as illustrated beautifully by the author. We were able to make a graph/ picture illustration of the Life Cycle of the Butterfly after our choral reading. As a lesson extension we did the caterpillar handprints. And this is the result: A lot of hungry caterpillars. Awesome!
